Ami and I went to Arashiyama Kyoto with My Japanese friend and her 7 months baby. She is now living in Rome but came back to Japan for 2 weeks.

We were both 5month pregnant, last time we came here.

The mountains and the river are so beautiful as you walk in to the main street.

This bridge is called Togetsukyo a symbol of the Arashiyama area, the beautiful sight of this bridge has been taken up by many poet. In days of the antiquity, boating here was an eloquent pastime for the aristocracy.

You will find small shrines and temples like this in the forest.

Famous bamboo forest, the sprended walking course.

We had lovely kyoto dish for lunch!
