Image
At the each booth in MariTime museum , they had little 10min show to entertain and educate the visitors about the history of Osaka and Shipping . The casts were very friendly and funny! Ami and I. Ami and I on the set. After a all,we spent almost 3 hours at the museum and we really enjoyed. They even had 2 kinds of 3D shows. They have description in English as well as Japanese,so I recommend foreign tourist to visit there if you are interested in the history of Japan, especially Osaka. I am planning to visit Kyoto for a day but it is raining now.... Hope it will be a nice day.

Instant miso soup

My mother bought me this instant miso soup at the department store. You put this wafer thing in the bowl and pour hot water. All the ingredient comes out from the wafer and ready to eat. This one is much fancier than a ordinary instant miso soup. It cost little more than $2 for ONE but tasted soooo good. The official web sight: http://www.fumuroya.co.jp/products/suimono/index.html

We are inside the dome of the MariTime museum now. This is the miniature of the Osaka bay in long time ago. 'Higakikaisen' traiding ship replica. This ship actually sailed in Osaka bay before placed in this museum. You can go into the ship to see in side.

Osaka MariTime Museum 1

On Sunday, we could not decide whether we should go, to the aquarium, the zoo or the Osaka Maritime Museum. Since we found out Ami now able to recognise fishes and enjoy watching, we wanted to take her to the aquarium. The traffic was so busy on the way to the aquarium then we knew already the aquarium is too busy to get in... So we gave up on the aquarium and headed for the Osaka MariTime Museum. This is our first time visiting this museum anyway. The place was sooo empty and I could not believe my eyes.. and instantly thought, " This place must be so boarding!" The tickets to enter! Japanese old coins look like. You walk thought this tunnel under the sea to get to the huge dome. There were some windows on the roof of the tunnel and you can see some fish when you look up. *See how empty this place is.... The actual museum is inside this huge dome which has 4 floors. We went for a walk to Fujita park today. Because we living in the central Osaka all we see is concrete but today she is very happy to be in the nature seeing lots of greens. Ami is now able to push her upper body high and it is so cute looking like a little baby lion.
